Carnival Wi-Fi Price Increase Confirmed for December 2025 and 2026 Sailings

Carnival Internet Plan pricing for a 2026 sailing, shown inside the guest booking portal.

Last week, I covered the rumors that Carnival’s Wi-Fi package prices are increasing for 2026 sailings. That’s now confirmed. The higher rates are already appearing inside real guest bookings, including some December 2025 cruises.

I checked Internet Plan pricing inside three of my upcoming reservations while logged into my account:

  • Carnival Breeze, November 2025: still showing current rates
  • Carnival Paradise, December 2025: showing new higher rates
  • Carnival Dream, February 2026: same new higher rates

That lines up with what cruisers have been reporting online. These three sailings now verify that the price increase is real, and earlier than expected.

What These Numbers Show

  • The new Wi-Fi pricing starts with December 2025 sailings, not January 2026.
  • The increase ranges from 7% to 9%, depending on the plan.
  • The Multi-Device Premium Plan stays at $84 total, but now offers less of a discount compared to individual plans.
  • These prices already include the “15% off pre-cruise” discount, so onboard rates will also rise once the new pricing becomes standard.

Historical and Industry Context

Carnival typically raises Wi-Fi rates in December, but that has applied to the following year’s sailings. In this case, the 2025 season is split: early sailings retain the old pricing, while December already reflects the new rates. That’s unusual timing from Carnival.

Other major cruise lines have also raised Wi-Fi rates in 2024 and 2025, signaling continued cost pressure from satellite bandwidth and growing guest demand. Across the industry, internet at sea is getting more expensive.

The Practical Impact

  • A 7-night Premium plan in 2026 costs around $14 more per person than it did in 2025.
  • A family of four buying the Value plan would spend around $50 more for the week than they would in 2025.
  • Booking before you sail still gives you the lower “pre-cruise” discount, but rates now vary based on sailing date.

This confirms that guests sailing through late 2025 still see the older pricing, while December and 2026 sailings are already using the higher rates inside Carnival’s official system.

If Carnival publishes a formal announcement or addresses the price increase, I’ll post an update. For now, the change is already live in the booking system.
