BREAKING: FBI Investigating Passenger Death on Carnival Horizon

A passenger death aboard the Carnival Horizon is now under federal investigation, according to a report from CBS News Miami published Saturday. The ship returned to PortMiami, where FBI agents boarded to begin their review.
Carnival confirmed the incident in a statement but shared no details about the cause of death, the timing, or the guest’s identity. The line said its focus is on “supporting the family” and cooperating fully with authorities.
The FBI has not indicated whether foul play is suspected or when additional information might be released. We will continue tracking this story and post an update when more information becomes available.
It’s been a rough couple of months for Carnival Horizon. American tourist Jessica Collins was reported missing from the ship during a September port call in Bonaire, and two guests filed a bed bug lawsuit on October 28 over an alleged February infestation in their Horizon cabin. Now with a reported death under FBI investigation, the ship has logged three major incidents in under 90 days.
